Easter Egg Hunt - In 2010 the NYMC held its annual Easter Egg Hunt. The weather was good for nearly two hundred youngsters and their light-footed parents to hunt out the surprise filled eggs donated by the NYMC and many local businesses.  Special thanks to all who attended and a special thanks to Neligh's Chamber of Commerce for donating the prizes this year. The Easter Bunny said he was "Hoppy" with the event and "hops" to see everyone next year.    More Pictures

Mini-Moto Races - In 2004 and 2005 Neligh hosted its first Mini-Moto Races.  Over 20 adult riders from across Nebraska and South Dakota entertained more than 400 spectators with races on motorcycles intended for a kindergartner. In 2011 we are bringing the races back along with 4-wheeler drags co-sponsored with Big Red Motor sports and owner Craig Smith.   For more information please call Jason Schindler (640-3451) or Craig Smith at Bid Red Motor sports. Hope to see you on the 28th.           Pictures Mini-Motos

Pancake Breakfasts - If you've attended any of Neligh's events you probably know we (a) never go hungry and (b) believe there is nothing like a good healthy meal before the festivities. This year the Neligh Young Men's Club will be hosting its annual pancake breakfast. Please come and eat free pancakes on June 28th in the Pavilion This breakfast will begin at 8:00 AM, is open to the public and will be the starting location for the American Legions Riders Poker-run.  Whatever your plans this summer, it's worth rolling out of bed, getting a belly full and watching "Mo" flip pancakes like a feen.  See you in the Park!    Pictures of 2009 Pancake Breakfast

Haunted House - This event has been one of the NYMC's longest and most successful. Although a tremendous amount of work and usually bone chilling temps, NYMC's Haunted House is always a huge amount of fun for the members as well as those worthy of a trip through the door.  The club is planning on having a Haunted House across from the high school in 2009. Be ready to muster up some confidence for a scare in October; that is if you dare.                  Video of Haunted House

Pig Catching Contest - On a hot summer this is your chance to bring out the kid in you again. Participate or watch as mudslingers battle the oinkers  in front of Neligh's grandstand for 2009's pig wrestling bragging rights. This event is held in conjunction with Old Mill Days and the 4th of July Celebration in Neligh. We want to thank Bruce Hild for his four legged contribution to the fun. Don't miss the mess in 2010.    More Pictures of Pig Contest

4th of July Parade - The OLD Mill Days celebration in Neligh is truly one of those diamond in the rough small town celebrations. Click below for a full list of the 4th of July activities as well as more information on how you can contribute to anything from fireworks to turtle races. Most of all, help us carry on this wonderful event that helps make Neligh such a wonderful place to live.  When the fireworks finish flashing and the fine foods finally settle you will know you just experienced the perfect summer day in Neligh.  See you this summer.        Pictures of Parade

Airshow - In 2007 the Neligh Young Men's Club celebrated its 50th anniversary. In honor of 35 years of service to the community of Neligh, the club decided to go "all out" with its first airshow at the Antelope County Airport. Coupled with generous donations from Blackburn Manufacturing and Schindler Flying nearly 2000 people ate pancakes, got their first airplane ride and were treated to aerobatic routines by Doug Roth and Rob Ator. The club has plans to do another Neligh Airshow in 2011. Don't Miss It!                       Pictures from the NYMC Airshow.

ATV Mud Drags & Enduro-cross - 2009 marked the second year for this unique riding venue.  Once again the Neligh Young Men's Club teamed up with Craig & Melissa Smith of Big Red Motorsports for an wildly successful event.  This is one of the most enjoyable events for the spectators and we hope to see you next year either in the stands or muddy like the rest of us.                           Click here for pictures of the 2009 event.

Fireworks - One of the biggest events of Old Mill Days is continuing the 37 year tradition of the NYMC fireworks show.  Always on the 4th of July, you'll want to stick around after the activities to witness this brilliant aerial display.  We would like to extend a special thanks to all of those who made donations in 2009.  Hope to see you relaxing with a full belly and quenched thirst at the Antelope County Airport in 2010.   Pictures of 2009 show.

Stop Light Drags - New in 2009!  The Neligh Young Men's Club partnered with the Norfolk Car Club for stop light drags on the runway.  Even though mother nature tried her best to spoil the fun, over 800 spectators and 100 cars attended the event.  Make plans to attend next year and don't miss the smoke, noise and good "old fashioned" motor head fun.  Thanks to all who made it possible!Pictures of the 2009 Stop Light Drags      Videos of the event.
